Blue Light Phone Locations

To report an emergency, you may dial 3540 or 3541 from any campus phone or (718)-636-3540 from outside. It is recommended that you store these numbers in your cell phone.

There are also emergency phones located in various areas of the campus. These telephones will automatically connect you to the Institute Safety and Security Department.  Just push the RED button and speak.  Outdoor Emergency Telephones are identified by a blue light directly over them. Which are used in the same manner and automatically connects to the security control center and identifies the location of the call.  Please refer to the attached campus map to familiarize yourself with the locations of these phones.
