Room change requests are permitted during specific designated time periods. Each semester, these specific room change periods will be posted in all residence halls. Typically, the room change period is held during the second week of each semester. All details pertaining to room changes will be posted and published in the residence halls.
The room change process is offered to give students the opportunity to upgrade their room type (from a double to a single, for example) or to move in with a friend. Room changes are not a method to resolve a roommate conflict. Conflicts should be brought to the attention of the RA.

The room change period for Fall 2012 is now closed. Check back at the beginning of the Spring semester for updated information on the room change process.
The Fall 2012 room change period will be:
- 8/29/12: Room change requests available via email and in Residential Life and Housing
- 9/5/12: Room change requests are due by 5 pm
Please note: No room changes/swaps may be done until officially notified in writing. Failure to adhere to this may disqualify a student from the process.
