Reservations
The Student Union acts as a living room for the Pratt Community. However, it can also be reserved for different events. On campus groups must fill out a Union Reservation Request Form to hold the space. Outside organizaitons or groups looking to hold events that do not cater to the student body must also complete an External Request form and pay the accompanying fee.
Events are usually held after the Union closes for the day and on weekends. Exceptions can be made after a meeting with the Office of Student Involvement. All groups are expected to set up prior to their event and clean up afterwards. Failure to do so may result in the group being unable to reserve the Student Union for the remainder of the semester.
Reservation Process
- Complete a Reservation form and accompanyiong documents
- Submit to the Office of Student Involvement at least three weeks prior to the event (reservations received after this time will be rejected)
- Provide all details of the event to the Student Union
- Make arrangements for outside rentals (if needed)
Remember...
The Student Union belongs to the entire Pratt Community. Events that take place in the Union should appeal to a wide variety of students, and your group should resepct the space. Failure to comply with the Student Union polciies may result in a revocation of reservation privlieges.
