Pi Sigma Chi
Pi Sigma Chi Fraternity was established at Pratt Institute by students who felt a need to enrich their college life through companionship of congenial friends during the 1991 Spring Semester. They did so not only because it us instinctive for individuals to want to associate with those whom they like and respect, but because most individuals develop best in the midst of friends and stimulating surroundings.
Fraternities are but many groups involved in the business of learning; learning to live and work with people, learning to share experiences and ideas, learning the principles of leadership and human relations, learning tolerance and consideration. Greek organizations serve as a home away from home. They are places where a student can relax and learn in a spirit of brotherhood and grow in the living workshop of the fraternal association.
There is not a type of student who best fits into our fraternity, because Pi Sigma Chi was founded at Pratt Institute and its membership is reflective of the Pratt Community. Pi Sigma Chi consists of a variety of races and religions. The members of this fraternity believe in the interests of its members being upheld with great honor and respect.
Pi Sigma Chi recently raised $750 to benefit a brother who passed away from cancer.
