Diplomas

The 2012 Commencement Ceremony will be held on Wednesday, May 9th. The Registrar's Office mails diplomas to the addresses indicated on graduates' electronic graduation application.

A graduate’s name will be printed on the diploma exactly as it is spelled on the graduation application. Offset printing for diplomas is done in batches off-site.

Graduates of Summer 2011

• Students who completed their degree requirements and were graduated on time: Diplomas wer mailed in November 2011 to the address provided on the graduation application.
• Students who have a hold on their account: Notices will be mailed as to what office you should contact.
• Students who needed to resolve an issue before graduating: Your diploma may still be on order. Diplomas will be mailed to the address provided on the graduation application. Please make sure your diploma mailing address is up to date.

Graduates of Fall 2011 and Spring 2012

• Students who apply for Fall 2011/Spring 2012 graduation before January 20th: Diplomas will be not be available for pickup. All diplomas will be mailed to the address indicated on students' graduation applications the week of May 14th.
• Students who apply for Spring 2012 graduation after January 20th: We estimate that diplomas will be mailed in September to the address provided on the graduation application. Please make sure this mailing address is up to date.

Please allow up to a month for delivery (yes, the postal service sometimes takes that long). Since there are sometimes other issues that prevent a diploma from being mailed (no current mailing address, academic records hold, a change in honors status in the last semester, printer error, etc.), if you are a recent graduate and you have a question about the status of your diploma, please contact our office.

Pratt will not be held responsible for any mailed diplomas that do not reach the graduate.
