Vagabond Vermicomposting Workshop

As a part of Pratt Green Infrastructures Project Community Outreach Program, third public hands-on workshop will demonstrate the nuts and bolts of creating a worm bin for small-scale indoor composting, the biology behind the process, and best practices for operating a happy vermicompost system. Among the participants 7 lucky composting enthusiasts will be able to to adopt a worm bin for the remainder of the spring semester, and participate in data collection that will help quantify the benefits of vermicomposting**.

Participation is for free and workshop materials will be provided by Pratt Institute and Green Infrastructures Project generously supported by Department of Environmental Protection.
