The Center for Career & Professional Development is proud to announce the opening of Unlisted: The Creative Entrepreneur at the Pratt Institute Libraries January 29 to March 29, 2013. Unlisted is an exhibition showcasing the work of Pratt Alumni who have made bold choices to embark on entrepreneurial journeys by being their own bosses and taking control over the success of their creative business. Their stories, struggles and triumphs are an inspiration for anyone who has considered taking the pioneering path of the creative entrepreneur.
A wide range of materials represents each of the artists—promotional designs, products, photographs, videos, and digital media—and tells the story of these successful entrepreneurs. The exhibition explores answers to the questions:
- How do individuals define their own meaning of entrepreneurship?
- What is the impetus that leads a creative professional to become an entrepreneur?
- What are the obstacles faced by creative entrepreneurs, and how are they overcome?
See Unlisted: The Creative Entrepreneur at Pratt Institute’s library on the Brooklyn campus. You can also view a preview of the exhibit at Pratt’s Manhattan campus.
