CEP Speech Contest

Tuesday, November 2, was the final round of the Fall 2010 CEP Speech contest. The four semifinalists delivered excellent speeches.
Thanyanun Nopmaneerasmee, first prize winner, spoke about discrimination against gay people. Kristel Adolfsdottir, second prize winner, spoke about the importance of standing up to bullying. Putong Nie, honorable mention, spoke about the necessity of being true to oneself. Hyunjoo Kim, honorable mention, argued that life experience is more valuable than formal education.
