“Pratt+Paper & Ralph Pucci” represents the culmination of a semester-long study in texture, surface, and form by students from Pratt Institute’s School of Art and Design. Working with internationally renowned designer Ralph Pucci, the forty-eight fashion design, industrial design, interior design, and fine art students worked exclusively in paper to dress Pucci’s Spring 2011 “GIRL 2” mannequins.

The 20 final dressed mannequins and four sculptural pieces at the show demonstrate the best work from this exciting project that provided our students with an outstanding opportunity to collaborate with their peers across the design and fine arts disciplines while meeting specific design challenges. “Pratt+Paper & Ralph Pucci” truly highlights Pratt’s exceptional programs and the superb students who aspire to work in the art and design fields.
