The exhibition by No Longer Empty is located in a building formerly owned by the Manhattan Company Bank, which was created by Aaron Burr. The article describes radical backing which provided loans and equity for working people rather than the Alexander Hamilton's Wall Street bankers.

The Public Banking Institute is an association of progressive economists, some of whom write policy and advise politicians. Professor Costanzo will represent Occupy Wall Street's Strike Debt at the Public Banking conference in June.
