An installation by Melissa Barrett, Digital Arts Assistant Chair, Adjunct Instructor, entitled Jules Verne nativity, was featured in a November event at Parlor Antics in Brooklyn. Parlor Antics is a Brooklyn-based project that hosts exhibitions and one-night interdisciplinary evenings. http://parlorantics.com/
Earlier this fall, Melissa's work was included in a benefit exhibition in New York City for History Starts Now, which fights domestic trafficking of children and helps to empower women who have been victims of trafficking and domestic abuse.
