GAUD Faculty member and principal of AUM Studio and UMASIDEIA Carla Leitao recently had an article published in the Huffington Post examining Cloud Architecture. Additionally, she will be starting as a regular contributor to the Huffington Post Arts Section. The full article can be found here. In the below excerpt from the article, Carla examines how the studio work at Pratt mirrors is exploring cloud architecture concepts in comparison to the Blur Building by Diller Scofidio Renfro. 

"Very recently, in my academic endeavors, I proposed to architecture students that they should attempt to design a cloud. The objective of the exercise was not only to engage the imagined poetics of inhabiting a cloud and its lifecycle of diffusions and condensations, but also to think of a form of distributed architecture that could still be a body."
