Enrique Maitland, Pixelpops! 2010

Time-based artwork by Enrique Maitland, MFA Digital Arts student, is featured in the Pixelpops! Outdoor Film Festival, beginning October 6th. The short-form art videos will be projected in outdoor locations - such as buildings, overpasses and similar structures - throughout the New York metropolitan area. The screenings utilize unconventional locales to underscore the narrative content of the films, while simultaneously moving art outside the usual gallery environment. Enrique's work has appeared in video_dumbo 2009, and Inlight Richmond 2009. He is also credited for his work on Melanie Crean's The Luminists.
