Alek's thesis animation, "Without Arms" has been nominated for Best animated student short at the 2009 AniMazing Spotlight Festival.
Awards will be presented by animation luminaries at the historic Egyptian Theatre in Hollywood, Saturday & Sunday, November 7-8th, 2009.
"Without Arms" won First Place in the Animation category of the 2009 SIGGRAPH SpaceTime Competition, and will be screened on Thursday, October 1st, 2009 at 7 PM at FIT's Haft Auditorium at the 2009 Metropolitan Area College Computer Animation Festival (MetroCAF).
