Add to your calendar Work by Recent Graduates Featured in Surface Magazine’s Annual Thesis Guide

Surface Magazine included thesis projects by recent Pratt graduates Charles Constantine, John Renaud, and Laura Weatherly in its annual Thesis Guide, which comprises the top graduate thesis work from 2009. Constantine's industrial design thesis addresses the North American funeral ritual, creating furniture and accessories that place life and death side by side. Renaud's fashion collection includes designs in black and blue patent leather, georgette, and sateen and is inspired by dark Scandinavian folk tales and Swedish band The Knife. Weatherly's archiecture thesis anticipates a mobile future, with vehicular structures that are organic, evolving, and that require feeding and care.
