Pratt Student Networking Event Featured in The New York Times

The New York Times featured photos of Pratt Institute students who participated in a Pratt Fashion Round Table Event in the Education Life section of its Sunday, April 17 print edition and on The New York Times website. The Fashion Round Table event was a networking event held this winter that brought students into conversation with professionals from the field. The event was hosted by the Office of Career Services in collaboration with the Pratt Fashion Society, a student-run organization, at Pratt's Manhattan Campus.
The Times featured images from the Round Table event in its "Trendspotting" feature, which occupied one full page in the print edition of the paper and will include an online slideshow of images of students in the outfits they wear to internship or job interviews. The photographs were taken by a Film/Video and Photography student that The Times hired as a freelance photographer. Pratt will be included with Boston College, Brown University, Harvard University, and Vanderbilt University.
The quarterly Education Life section features news on colleges and universities, teachers, public and private schools, tuition, scholarships, financial aid, and student loans.
