New York Magazine quoted Gita Nandan, a visiting assistant professor in Pratt's School of Architecture, in its fall design issue. Nandan, who was one of a dozen design experts quoted in the magazine's survey of recent urban inventions, was quoted on an innovative street light design that is powered by solar panels and a wind turbine that she uses as an example for her students at Pratt.
