Industrial Design Master’s Degree Candidates to Present Exhibition of Thesis Work in DUMBO

WHAT: Industrial Design master's degree candidates from Pratt Institute's Department of Industrial Design will present over 20 thesis projects to the public in an exhibit that will be celebrated with an opening reception from 6-8 PM on May 7th at powerHouse Arena in the DUMBO neighborhood of Brooklyn. The exhibit, entitled "Object Resonance," includes explorations of objects, environments, systems, and interactions within the public, personal, material, and conceptual worlds we live in and reflect the efforts of yearlong thesis investigations into the future of design.    
 
All exhibiting students will be present at the opening reception to take questions and to elaborate on their thesis work.

WHEN: The opening reception will take place on Saturday, May 7, from 6-8 PM.
 
The exhibit is also open to the public now through Sunday, May 8. powerHouse Arena hours are Monday-Friday from 10 AM to 7 PM, Saturday-Sunday from 11 AM to 7 PM.
