Add to your calendar Fashion Week Daily Features Sustainable Fashion Exhibition at Pratt Manhattan Gallery

Fashion Week Daily featured Pratt Manhattan Gallery's "Ethics + Aesthetics = Sustainable Fashion" exhibition in a recent "Chic Report" post. The exhibition is open now through February 20, 2010 and is the first American exhibition to investigate the sustainable practices of American fashion designers, many of whom are based in New York City.

The exhibition is guest-curated by fashion theorist and independent curator Francesca Granata and textile conservator Sarah Scaturro and features work by companies and clothing lines including SANS, Uluru, Loomstate, Bodkin, Alabama Chanin, SUNO, and Slow and Steady Wins the Race, and by designers and artists Susan Cianciolo, Kelly Cobb, Tiprin Follett, Zoe Sheehan Saldana, and Andrea Zittel. The exhibition design was completed by current graduate interior design students as part of the Exhibition Design Intensive course led by Professor Jon Otis.
