Undergraduate Information Sessions

General information sessions are an excellent introduction for students and families looking at Pratt for the first time. General information sessions (recommended for first-time visitors) include a presentation by an admissions staff member covering the available areas of study at Pratt, an overview of first year and second year curricula for these programs, highlights in each course of study, a student panel, a question and answer forum, and a campus tour geared towards a student’s major area of interest. General information sessions on the Brooklyn campus are one hour followed by a campus tour (45 minutes to an hour).  Each session is limited in size and reservations are required to attend.  You may register for a general information session online.

Department-Specific Information Sessions are offered following general information sessions in the morning.  We highly recommend attending a general information session before a department-specific information session. 

Portfolio reviews and counselor appointments are not available during general and department-specific information sessions. If you wish to schedule an appointment with a counselor the day of the information session, you must call our Visit Coordinator at 718-636-3779 or write .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address). Please note that portfolio reviews and counselor interviews are only offered from April 1st to December 1st each year.

Accepted undergraduate students are invited to attend a reception including speeches by Pratt's President, Provost, Director of Health and Counseling, Director of Career Services, and others.  The day will also include visits to academic departments and campus tours.
