Fall Application Deadlines and Timeline

Early Action
November 1 (freshman applicants only) (non-binding): Decisions mailed in late December.

Regular Admission
January 5 (freshmen) : Decisions mailed by April 1 and weekly after that.
February 1 (transfers): Decisions mailed mid-April and weekly after that.
Associate's degree applicants: rolling admissions (may submit applications throughout the year.) Decisions mailed on a rolling basis.

October 1 (all domestic applicants) Decisions mailed mid-late November

The online application and all required documents should be submitted by the application deadline or close to it. We prefer that the application is submitted first before the other documents in order to file your documents with your application, but if supplementary documents arrive first, they will be filed and then assembled when your application arrives.

If you are incomplete, we will contact you by email to let you know what is missing in enough time for you to submit the missing document(s). Please check your email for documents from Pratt.  Check your junkmail as well. We will also notify complete applicants by email. Decisions for early action will be mailed by January 6. Regular decisions for freshmen will be mailed by April 1. Decisions for transfers are mailed as they are completed after April 15.

Crediy Evaluations for Transfer Applicants: Transfer decisions and credit evaluations are done by department chairs and the reigstrar's office. 

Checking Status: Pratt's status check system will be online in late December, 2011.  

Financial Aid: Apply for the FAFSA between January 2 and February if possible. You may apply after that, but the financial aid package may not be available upon acceptance.
