Deposited Undergraduate Students
Welcome Fall 2013 Entering Students!
As a deposited student, you may now access our portal (my.pratt.edu) if you have your OneKey information. The portal contains your student financial account, class schedule as soon as you have registered, and for international students the I-20 request forms as well as our learning management system and other information.
Granting Parent Rights: Students have the option of granting a parent or other guardian the right to access academic records, financial records, or both without providing him or her with the student's login and password. This can be done through the Academic Tools student menu (under My Personal Information). If the person is not already in your records, you must first "Request add of Parent". If your parents pay your bills, it is very important that they be able to access your financial account online.
Each deposited student receives an email with their login and password so they can access the portal. If you did not receive one, please be patient. Emails go out on the week-end with the information, and letters and packets go out weekly.

Making Your Visa Appointment: Please allow two to three weeks for the processing of Pratt's I-20. The I-20 can only be processed once all required documents are received. Students should not make an appointment with the American Embassy/Consulate before the I-20 is issued. When the I-20 is mailed, a tracking number and the SEVIS number is sent to the student by e-mail. Once you have your SEVIS number, Pratt's school code and you've paid the SEVIS fee, you can make an appointment with the American Embassy/Consulate.
Students who are required to take the English Placement Exam must plan to arrive for the test which will be given August 14th-16th. Your status with regards to the exam will be posted on the dashboard section of my.pratt.edu once your passport information is entered into the database.
Exam waivers will automatically be given to students with TOEFL scores above 600 and to those who are native English speakers from a country where English is an official language. Students who have graduated from a four-year degree program or a graduate program in the US within the last twelve months may be issued a waiver upon review. See the full list of waiver criteria online.
Please note: Students who receive TOEFL waivers during the admissions process may not automatically qualify for the English Placement Exam waiver.
Depending on the results of the exam, you may be required to take Intensive English Program (IEP) classes concurrently with your degree program courses. Information on the required English Placement Exam is online.
Students who have been accepted for fall with a TOEFL score below 600 are encouraged to join the Summer Certificate of English Proficiency (SCP) Program to get a head start on English. Students who join the SCP will not be required to take the English Placement Exam. For more information about the English Placement Test, the SCP and IEP Programs, and for the SCP application form, please check out our website. Please note that students joining the SCP Program must apply to this program before they begin their I-20 Request process.
