Apply Online (Graduate)

Graduate applicants are required to apply online to expedite processing of their applications. A pdf of the downloadable application is available below if you are unable to submit an online application. The reference form is the last page of the application.  Reference forms are found below in pdf form as well. .

Make sure you read the general application requirements and also the specific department requirements for your prospective graduate program.

You will select either domestic graduate or international graduate when you begin the online application.   International Students:  This application site cannot accept international debit cards. It does accept international credit cards.

Apply Online!

The Admissions Committees in each department bases their decisions on a careful review of all credentials submitted by the applicant. Admissions files are not considered complete and will not be sent to your department until all required materials have been received. You may check your application status online four weeks after you submit your application and documents. Please read carefully all the requirements.

Application Deadlines

Fall: January 5 (all programs but Design Management,Arts and Cultural Management)

Spring: October 1

We suggest you submit your application online at least three weeks earlier than the deadline if possible and then begin to submit your other documents so everything arrives either on the deadline or soon thereafter.  If items come in before the application, they will be filed until we receive the application and then assembled.  We prefer that you submit the application first, however, to expedite assembly of your file.  Applications will be sent to the academic department for review as soon as they are complete, so it is advantageous to submit your applications as early as possible.  Because delays in completion are frequently a result of missing recommendation letters, it is wise to leave time for these to be submitted. . 

Design Management and Arts and Cultural Management programs are encouraged to submit their applications by March 1. Although candidates may be considered for admission to these programs until June 1, their applications will only be reviewed if the program is still accepting applications as of that date.

Most programs will accept applications after the January 5 deadline if there are spaces available. See specific departmental information under Departmental Requirements
