Accepted Graduate Students
Welcome to all accepted students for spring 2013 and congratulations! We hope that you are seriously considering Pratt as your first choice. Your packet is on its way with your acceptance letter and deposit forms. Please submit your deposits online at the link below.
Submit your Deposits Online: To submit online, you must have your ID, your date of birth, and the major code of the you were accepted to. These are included in your email and your packet. The list of majors and codes is in pdf form on this page. You will receive an immediate confirmation, and it will be submitted to us immediately. We request a non-refundable $500 admissions deposit and $300 optional housing deposit if you intend to live on campus. Both deposits are due by May 1 (postmarked) or two weeks after the date on your acceptance letter, whichever is later. Housing will be assigned on a first-come first-served basis.
Fax your Deposit: Please use our online form if possible, but if it is not possible, you may fax (718-399-4242) your deposit form. The earlier you submit your housing form, the better the chance of obtaining housing. Housing assignments are sent to your Pratt email address after your deposit is received. Students who are not assigned housing will be placed on a waiting list and contacted as housing is assigned. The deposit and other forms for fall are available to download below. Deposits for Fall 2013 are due by May 1, 2013.

Post-Professional Summer Entering Architecture MS Students only: Because your program begins May 31, your deposit is due by April 15. To ensure that you have enough time to receive your I-20 and make your visa appointment, we suggest the following: (1) As soon as you decide to enroll after acceptance, submit your $500 deposit to admissions. Next, if you are an international student you should check the I-20 forms required. Although you may not submit the online I-20 until you receive your Pratt OneKey login and password by email, you can begin to assemble the supporting documents (affidavit of support and bank statement) so that you are ready to mail them as soon as you submit the online I-20. You should messenger your documents to Pratt to save time as well. Make sure you check your email frequently. Summer housing forms may be downloaded and submitted by fax or mail.
Note: if you must submit your deposit by wire transfer, please make sure you add in the required service charge so that your deposit will include that as well. You must also notify the admissions office that you have submitted your deposit directly by wire transfer by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org or submitting the deposit form and noting you paid by wire tranfser. We prefer that you use our online deposit form if possible.
Orientation: Orientation for post professional architecture summer students begins around June 1. Exact date will be posted in early 2013.
Off-Campus Housing: The best way to find off-campus housing is to check the Office of Residential Life website for listings or become a member (free) of http://www.livejournal.com and search for Pratt. Pratt students advertise rooms available on that site and you can find both a room and roommate that way.
