Areas of Specialization: 18th-19th century German Philosophy (with a particular interest in Nietzsche), Aesthetics, and Metaphysics. Areas of Competence: History of Philosophy, History and Philosophy of Science, Ethics

Current Research Interests: Nietzsche“s Metaphysics and Philosophy of Science, in the context of 19th century science; Rousseau“s philosophical psychology, in the context of 18th-century philosophy and science; theories of moral rights; the nature and limits of normativity.
