Biography

Dr. Chaky’s research focuses on the sources, transport and fate of pollutants in the urban environment, particularly that of New York City. He regularly teaches Science of Sustainability, Ecology for Architects, Toxics in the Environment, and the elective course Science and Society. Dr. Chaky is active in Sustainable Pratt, a group of students, faculty and staff that works to position Pratt as a leader in sustainable, ecologically-aware design and architecture.
