Biography

Anthony Cocciolo’s research interests are in the uses of emerging information and communications technologies (ICTs) to enhance libraries and education. In particular, he is interested in the social, cognitive and affective dimensions of learning and knowledge construction in digital environments. His dissertation explored how ICTs could be used to create a more participatory culture within a higher education context. Before joining the faculty at Pratt SILS, Anthony was the Head of Technology for the Gottesman Libraries at Teachers College, Columbia University.
