The Advanced Certificate in LIS is designed for information professionals who wish to gain new skills for libraries in the digital world from digital libraries and services to digital information design, social media and policy.

This 30-credit program consists of 24 credits (six 3-credit courses) and 6 credits of independent research on a topic selected by the student for which the student writes a paper supervised by SILS faculty.
