Archives (within or post MSLIS)
This 12-credit Advanced Certificate in Archives can be taken as part of a student's MSLIS degree or as a post master's certificate for those holding an MLS from as ALA accredited program.
Designed to prepare students for careers in archives (both digital and physical) and related fields such as special collections, digital libraries and records management, this course of study provides both archival theory, practice and research. Considered part of the broader field of Cultural Informatics, archives and digital archives have wide application in today's information landscape.
