Pratt Manhattan Center
The School's administrative offices and classrooms are located in Manhattan at 144 West 14th Street, 6th Floor.
Most classes are held at the Manhattan Building. Its well-equipped facilities are designed to meet the needs of LIS students and include five computer laboratories, smart classrooms, a conference room, scanning lab, faculty offices, a "cyber-café" available to students during building hours.
Students find SILS facilities on the 6th floor of the Pratt Manhattan Center a home away from home and experience this well-designed and equipped place as one ideal for teaching and learning
SILS Cyberspace on the on the 6th floor provides a casual place where students have access to the Internet and wireless connection. This serves as a nice place to meet fellow students and to work on team projects or just relax and have a bite to eat and a coffee. Working collaboratively with New York's leading libraries and museums, courses are also offered on-site at Brooklyn Public Library, New York Public Library, and the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
Pratt Manhattan Center Library located on the 4th floor - makes readily available information science materials including books, reference materials, and periodicals as well as access to online databases.
Between Chelsea and Greenwich Village, the School's location on 14th street near 7th avenue is lively and convenient.
WAC offers several programs that bring writing into the studio classroom.
