Additionally, she has worked in children's book publishing, first as an intern for Bloomsbury Children's Books and then as the Senior Marketing Manager, School & Library for HarperCollins Children's Books. Most recently, she has been hired as a temporary consultant for Scholastic Book Clubs and as a visiting assistant professor for Pratt Institute. In 2008, Laura was chosen as an ALA Emerging Leader. She has also reviewed for School Library Journal. |
