Biography

David Hollander is the Law & Legal Studies Librarian at the Princeton University Library. He holds a J.D. from Fordham University and Masters of Library Science from the Pratt Institute. David is a member of the New York Bar and practiced law for three years at the New York office of Jones Day. Prior to coming to Princeton University, David was the Reference/Instructional Services Librarian at the University of Miami School of Law. He is an active member of the American Association of Law Libraries. His publications include “Jewish Law for the Law Librarian,” 98 Law Library Journal 219 (2006); “Interdisciplinary Legal Scholarship: What Can We Learn from Princeton’s Longstanding Tradition?,” 99 Law Library Journal 771 (2007); “New Jersey Practice Materials,” in State Practice Materials: Annotated Bibliographies (Frank G. Houdek & Adeen Postar, eds., 2008); and “An Unexpected Story: the History and Origins of Princeton’s Longstanding Tradition of Interdisciplinary Legal Scholarship”, 100 Law Library Journal 279 (2008). His current project is a bibliographic analysis of Jewish law scholarship in secular law schools.
