Architecture (Post-Professional) M.S.
Master of Science, Architecture (Post-Professional)
Graduate Architecture offers a professional and a post-professional degree. The 36-credit, three-semester (summer, fall, spring) post-professional program’s aim is to expand a student’s professional education into new forms of thinking and practice. This program helps students develop a lifelong relationship to their respective fields. All students are exposed to relevant issues through rigorous history and theory electives, lectures by prominent scholars, computer and technology courses emphasizing critical thinking, and studios requiring integration of theoretical and technical knowledge. The culmination of the program is an thesis project on a student-developed specialized area of research.
Schedule Changes Beginning in 2010: Both post-professional degree programs, the M.S. in Architecture and the M.S. in Architecture and Urban Design, will commence in the Summer Semester. This is the only entrance term for enrollment in these programs. The summer session for both programs begins June 1 and ends August 12, 2011.
