Certificate Program in Design Entrepreneurship (CDE)
June 3rd to June 21st, 2013 New York City
Do you dream of turning your idea into a business? This certificate program is specifically for designers who want to become design entrepreneurs. Participants choose from seven distinct intensives that focus on fashion, footwear, jewelry, product design, social innovation or design consulting. This program will build your business acumen and set the stage for you to build a viable business that is driven by design. Sustainable best practices are integrated throughout the program ensuring that you learn how to make decisions that consider the environmental and social impacts along with economic success. This flexible program is created to work around a busy schedule and can be completed within three to four weeks. Courses may be taken individually or as part of the certificate program. The CDE program is has been designed by the and offered in collaboration with the Pratt’s Center for Continuing and Professional Studies. Housing is available on Pratt’s Brooklyn Campus.
