Lynne lives and works in New York City. Inspired by the jazz scene, she became the artist in residence at a local jazz club in the west village while a student. She received her BFA from Pratt and her MFA from School of Visual Arts. Her images conveyed, even back then, a conspicuous energy in the quality of line, form and bold color. Investigation combined with surface building it is possible to translate raw emotion into a visual image, thus enlightening, amusing, or sometimes even disturbing the viewer.” Her work has been included in one woman, group exhibitions and several galleries including, The Williamsburg Cultural Center, Holland Tunnel, Ben Shaun Galleries, and The Gallery of South Orange. She splits her time up between painting and illustration. Illustration clients include: The Indypendent, Delaware Today Magazine, She also teaches part time at Pratt Institute, Marywood University MFA program, and City College in NYC |
