AOS Degree (2 Year Career -Track)
Pratt's Associate Degree Program (AOS) is a concise, comprehensive, and intensive 2 Year / 4 Semester career track Art & Design program offering Majors in Graphic Design, Illustration or Digital Design & Interactive Media. Located on 14th St in the cultural epicenter of Manhattan, these programs integrate the best of new technologies along with a strong commitment to traditional art and design curriculum.
AOS Majors: Graphic Design / Illustration / Digital Design & Interactive Media
2 Year/4 Semesters (67 Credits): Student's move quickly into upper level art & design classes taught by top New York professionals, student's develop a competitive portfolio and skills to move directly into the field. This program includes great internship opportunities which offer exciting and invaluable industry experience.
Faculty for both the AOS and AAS Degree Programs comprises New York’s leading professionals, who bring to the studio practical professional experience and expertise reflecting the highest standards in their fields. The emphasis on the personal attention given each student defines a key difference between this and other programs.
Students may attend on either a full- or part-time basis. Financial aid is available to qualified students. Many AOS Students live at Pratt's Brooklyn Campus and commute easily to Manhattan.

The preferred method to submit your portfolio is online and work may be uploaded at http://pratt.slideroom.com
Portfolio Guidelines: A Portfolio is 15-20 Pieces of work which reflect your range of artistic abilities. As a general rule of thumb, a portfolio is comprised of 50% 'Observation' and 50% 'Imagination'. Observational work includes drawing, painting, still life, figure drawing, landscape. The imaginative part of a portfolio includes any art & design projects that demonstrate your creative flair. These projects might include graphic design work, web design work, sculpture, photography, collage, digital artwork).
If you do not currently have a portfolio, you have the option to complete a home test to demonstrate your skills.
