Biography

Tom is co-Principal of Medium Rare, an award winning web development and motion graphics studio. His focus is on the website end of the business. He’s crossed over between design and programming, and now straddles the fence, providing interactive design consultation and programming services to other designers.

He’s also well versed in all aspects of print design and corporate identity development. He graduated from Pratt in 1998, and has been a professor since 2000.

Tom has recently relocated to Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, and is currently helping to develop ComD’s first distance learning class.

He can also hang drywall, is a proficient stage diver (retired), and has been mistaken for numerous celebrities, none of whom he actually looks anything like.
