Biography

Rick Martin is an artist, designer and instructor from Austin, Texas, currently living in New York City on a mission to prove that rewarding work and copious amounts of fun are not mutually exclusive.

A 1994 graduate of the Art Institute of Houston, Rick is currently the design director for the Onion and has more than 14 years of experience in print and online media creation.

Clients include: The AV Club, Decider.com, Dell, Compaq, PBS Kids, Design Edge, Cox Communications, Simon & Schuster, Steve Jackson Games, Grist, United Way, Stream 57, Serino Coyne and Merck.
