Biography

Born in Caracas, Venezuela in 1952. Self-taught photographer from an early age, became a working photographer in 1972 for prominent Latin American newspapers and magazines. In 1980 he comes to New York City to study at the International Center of Photography. Over the past thirty-five years, he has explored a diversity of subjects in many parts of the world, such as portraiture, architecture, theater, ballet, landscape, and most recently the area of advertising. He received the The National Award in Photography in Venezuela in 1997.
