Gary is one half of Fogelson-Lubliner, a studio he formed together with Phil Lubliner (his former roommate at Pratt) in early 2008. Operating out of a small storefront in downtown Brooklyn, the studio concentrates on projects that get printed, animated and programmed for clients in the cultural sector. He was named one of Print Magazine’s New Visual Artists in 2008, and prior to going out on his own, was a designer for three years at Open, a design studio in Manhattan.
He currently teaches Type I at Pratt, occassionally fills in as an art director at the New York Times Op-Ed page, and co-runs The Holster, a publishing project that produces ‘zines and other pieces of printed matter.
