Biography

Ali Madad is a graphic designer, writer, educator and hierophant based in New York. Born on the North Shore of Long Island, he was schooled at Rochester Institute of Technology and Cranbrook Academy of Art. Ali’s commercial art ranges from strategic planning, ephemeral identities, desirable objects and sumptuous spaces. While his personal work and research focuses on symbolic forms, typographic mutant, urban un/planning, horror, magic and the in/human condition. Ali has lectured and exhibited internationally and his works and writing have garnered awards, laurels and recognition. He is a Design Director at 19 Entertainment and Co-Founder of SCTY.
