She has served as the curriculum coordinator for the sophomore year in the Industrial Design Dept for several years. In addition to her dual BFAs at Cleveland Institute of Art, she studied at Penland School of Crafts and Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture. Ms. Pfordresher is a founding partner of Hybrid Product Design and Development. Projects have included house-wares, consumer electronics, personal care, medical devices, and sustainable transportation systems. Hybrid’s Mini-Modal Taxi has been recognized globally, and published in the New York Times, Business Week, Rides, Echo and Focus Magazine. She is the author of several patents including patents for her designs for surgical devices and office equipment. Throughout her career, Ms. Pfordresher has exhibited sculpture, drawings and prints in various venues, nationally and internationally. Some exhibitions spaces have included the Sculpture Center, The Butler Museum, Smith College, and many others.
