Biography

Born in Rome, Italy Attended Risd, graduated Brown University ’77 Lives works in New York City Teaching at the Metropolitan Mueseum of Art Education Program Prof. of Drawing.

Showed initially in the East Village at the Jamie Wolff Gallery, then to Soho with Barbara Toll and Holly Solomon, then to Chelsea at Zieher Smith, amongst others.

Taught at Bennington, Bard, Columbia, Risd, Cooper Union; Clay sculpture and drawing.

In 2005 started a drawing program at the Metropolitan Museum of Art Education Department which is ongoing.

Publications include: Art in America, Art News, The New York Times, The New Yorker, Paris Review, Town and Country, Sports Illustrated.

Panels include College Art, Museum of Folk Art, NYAA.
