Biography

Alexia Cohen graduated from Massachusetts College of Art and Design with a Bachelors in Fine Arts, Metals in 2006 with Departmental Honors and Distinction. She currently works at Pratt Institute as the Jewelry area technician as well as a Visiting Instructor in the Fine Arts Department. Alexia has maintained an active jewelry making practice since her graduation from MassArt, she creates both one of a kind art jewelry pieces and a small production of jewelry items. Her art jewelry pieces have been shown with Mobilia Gallery and Gallery Loupe, both prominent galleries in the Art Jewelry world. Recently, Alexia's work was shown as part of the  Art of Adornment: Studio Jewelry Exhibition at the Hunterdon Art Museum in New Jersey.
