Biography

Gene has many years experience teaching and mentoring fashion design students. He teaches classes in fashion illustration and sketching as well as apparel design and presentation. Gene has taught a summer program in Johannesburg, South Africa in affiliation with Parsons The New School of Design fro multiple years; started the high school fashion studies program at Studio Place Arts in Barre, VT. Gene mentored the Pratt 2009 junior fashion design students for the CFDA and Geoffrey Beene scholarship competitions with one student winning an honorable mention.
