MINOR IN ART, DESIGN, AND SOCIAL PRACTICE
The Department of Art and Design Education offers a cross-disciplinary 15-credit minor for students from across the Institute. Through coursework, fieldwork research and practicum experiences, students learn to conceive and develop educational experiences in a variety of community settings and explore participatory practices in the public sphere. Students are required to take 3 credits in Social Science and Cultural Studies, 2 credits in Art/Design History, and 10 credits in practicum and coursework in Art and Design Education.
