Biography

Mr. Yurkovich is a New York-based designer working at the intersection of architecture, exhibition design, product and furniture development, and brand environments. He has a wide variety of design and production experiences, from initial creative strategy through to construction management and hands-on fabrication. These have provided him the opportunity to work closely with a range of clients and collaborators. In addition to his involvement in design/build and product development
projects in New York and around the country, he teaches at Pratt Institute.

He received a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Kent State University and recently completed a Master in Design Studies with a concentration in Technology from Harvard University Graduate School of Design, where he researched emerging digital fabrication techniques.

He currently seeks to integrate traditional craft-based production methods with advanced digital fabrication to produce projects and experiences that are conceptually rich, rigorously designed, and efficiently constructed.
