EducationPh.D. Candidate, Art History, CUNY Graduate Center BiographyChelsea Bruner is a specialist in 19th century American architecture and design history, and a practicing interior designer. She is completing a dissertation on the Seventh Regiment Armory at the CUNY Graduate Center. Chelsea graduated with honors from Pratt’s History of Art & Design program, and has received a number of travel and research grants, including the Martin E. Segal Dissertation Fellowship (CUNY). Most recently, she has spoken about her dissertation topic at Cornell University, and as an invited speaker at Driehaus Museum in Chicago. She has taught courses on architectural history at Spitzer School of Architecture (City College) and NYU, and has worked for architectural design firms in Florida and New York City.
