She is faculty at the School of Visual Arts, in the Visual and Critical Studies Department, where she teaches Art History and studio courses in contemporary painting. She has been a workshop leader at Dia: Beacon, a guest instructor at Barnard College, Columbia University, and a guest lecturer at Cooper Union’s Summer Outreach program. She was an artist-in-resident at The Banff Centre in Canada (2012) and Camac Art Center in France (2011), where she has also exhibited her work. Most recently in 2013, she has shown work at Kravetz Wehby gallery in Chelsea, A.I.R. gallery in Brooklyn, and Grizzly Grizzly in Philadelphia. Her essays and criticism are published internationally in artforum.com, Domus (Italy),ArtSlant, Time Out New York, RES Art World/World Art (Turkey), ARTnews, The Santiago Times (Chile), and The Visual Arts Journal, among other publications. She runs an exhibition series in Brooklyn Heights called The Willows (www.thewillowsnyc.com). |
