Biography
A Fulbright specialist grantee in Art Education to Iceland Academy of the Arts in 2011 and 2012, her research interests center on drawing, studio pedagogy and the role of art and design in youth and community development. Current projects include co-curating (with Tara Kopp) “The Imperative of Teaching:” Studio Pedagogy at Gallery Bergen at Bergen Community College, New Jersey, February 2013, a group exhibition with Kim Beck, Adam Brent, Nina Katchadourian and Sheila Pepe and others; developing a new course on College Teaching scheduled to run in spring 2013 and work as co-coordinator of the School of Art and Design's Initiative for Research in Teaching and Learning in Art and Design to launch spring 2013.
